• Oceanview to the West Maui Mountains and Molokai in the distance
• The sandy beach in Sugar Cove right next to it may be suitable for swimming depending on the waves (usually up in winter) or seaweed conditions (usually bad in summer). It's usually ideal for windsurfing though there's a "wind shadow" on most days that forces you to swim out 100 - 200 feet to get enough wind to waterstart and sail out to the wind line.
• 5-minute walk down the street to the longest beach on the northshore, Baldwin Beach Park, which has a protected tide pool perfect for swimming and safe for children even during the "winter" months.
• Jet noise can be heard from this property, though it's not so bad as to make staying here unpleasant, no jet noise 99% of the time.
• 2-minute drive to Paia town; 5-minutes to Kahului
